Host and Producer Alison Thoet de Castillo is a self-admitted literature nerd who works in video production by day and runs a Classics book club by night. Her qualifications include over ten years in video production, a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Journalism and watching the 2005 “Pride & Prejudice” movie FAR too many times. 

Producer and Editor Alex Fischer is a marketer, producer, and voice actor that has a deep passion for creating content. He is the Marketing & Growth Manager for Team Richards, managing content creation, strategy and more for the Westborough branch of Northpoint Mortgage. Outside of this role, he spends his time producing podcasts, recording voiceover and making content of his own. Alex has produced hundreds of podcast episodes across more than 10 shows, and his work has resulted in: 1x Telly Award Silver Winner (2026), 1x Webby Award Nominee (2026) and 2x Folio Eddy Award Finalists (2025).
